Eric Mendum was a UK fan probably from London and active in the mid-1940s. He was a member of the Cosmos Club (CSC).
Mendum contributed a story of the fifth issue of The Beyond. In Futurian War Digest #28 (May 1943), E. Frank Parker reported as CSC meeting:
The latter part of the evening was occupied by some experiments in extra-sensory perception. Members were invited to discern the contents of a series of similar sealed containers, so mixed up that even the guy who sealed then didn't know which was which. Results were sometimes startling – and often the right article was named at the wrong moment in time ... Card tests weren't so successful, but the assembled company managed to think thought-reading member Mendum into walking into a table.
He is not listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom of 1945.
