The Reading Science Fiction Group, always called the RSFG, have been meeting on Monday nights in Reading, UK since 1990 (and casually for years before that). While regular members like Steve Davies, Giulia De Cesare, Eddie Cochrane and Mark Young are active elsewhere in fandom, the group has a proud tradition of not organising things, so like the byline - Reading Science Fiction (Drinking) Group.
Members have included Eddie Cochrane, Steve Davies, Giulia De Cesare, Tony Hammond, Kim Whysall, and Mark Young.
There also was an earlier Reading SF Club based at the University and founded by Keith Freeman and Chris Fowler.

This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.
When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can! |
