Craig Alexander Newmark was a little-known con and club fan in the 1980s in Boca Raton, Florida (where he helped found Tropicon and belonged to the Southern Fandom Confederation), and Detroit (where he was a member of the W3F). He was a regular congoer.
Craig gafiated, moved to San Francisco and, in 1995, founded Craigslist, becoming a billionaire and philanthropist.
