Bridget Landry, an LA fan and costumer, served as vice-president of the Costumers Guild West in 1993–94, and co-chaired Costume-Con 18 in 2000. A master-level costumer, she has won masquerade awards at local conventions and Worldcons. She has been attending cons since she was 13.
In her day job as an engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, she worked on the Hubble Space Telescope, the Mars Pathfinder, the Cassini mission to Saturn, and the Curiosity and Perseverance rovers. She was married, for a time, to fellow fan Bruce Briant; they had a daughter, Samantha, in 2001, but later divorced.
