Shelby Thomas Bush III, a Louisville fan, was one of the fans in charge of Special Events at NorthAmericon '79. He wrote Stringworld, a fannish musical parody of Larry Niven’s Ringworld that premiered at Rivercon III. He was involved in the revival of Upper South Clave.
Shelby created the statuette for Rivercon’s Ming Award and designed the Pegasus Award. He was one of the editors of FOSFAX. He was a member of SAPS and SFPA, and founded The Vidiots.
He lived in Vincennes, IN, for a time.
