Kevin Wayne Jeter is known both personally and professionally as K. W. Jeter. He is a SF and horror author known for his literary writing style and unsympathetic characters. In the late 80s, he coined the term "steampunk". He has written novels set in the Star Trek and Star Wars universes, and has written sequels to Blade Runner. He has also written comic books for DC Publications.
He and his wife live in Ecuador.
