The Dawn Patrol, founded in 1998 by Roger "Pinky" Tener, was a group of some 300 science fiction, space and aviation enthusiasts from throughout the United States and Canada, who subscribed to The Chronicles of the Dawn Patrol e-clubzine, which Pinky pubbed each weekday morning.
The zine covered humor, science fiction fandom, space, aeronautics, and updates on the lives of members.
Some members and friends still keep in touch and gather for a weekend in Huchinson, Kansas, in February or March each year. (Fl. 1998–2009.)

This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.
When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can! |
