An Alabama [[con-running fan]] who found fandom in 1968.  She cochaired [[ConFederation]], the 1986 [[Worldcon]] and was part of the [[Atlanta in '86]] and [[Atlanta in '95]] [[Worldcon bid]]s and also chaired [[DeepSouthCon 15]] as well as working on numerous [[Worldcons]] and [[regionals]].  She was one of the founders of the [[Birmingham Science Fiction Club]].

She was one of the founders of the Birmingham Science Fiction Club.

She was married to Meade Frierson with whom she collaborated in her fan writing. They were members of Myriad, RAPS, and SFPA.
