Joyce “Lin” McDaniel (née Potter, later Jumper, aka Lin Johnstone), a Los Angeles fan, was a member of LASFS. She was treasurer of the Philadelphia in 1977 Worldcon bid.
She was married to David McDaniel (aka Ted Johnstone) and lived with him in the Hobbit Hole from 1964 or ’65 till 1969. After his death in 1977, she wed George Jumper in 1981.
