Bernard Albert "Bernie" Wrightson was an American artist known for his horror illustrations and comic books.  He was awarded the Inkwell Award Special Recognition Award in 2015 for his 45-plus years of work, including co-creating DC Comic's Swamp Thing and Frankenstein.  With [[Jeff Jones]], [[Michael Kaluta]] and [[Barry Windsor-Smith]] he was a member of [[The Studio]] in the late 70s.
