Ketterer is a UK-born, Canadian academic who taught for many years at Concordia University, Montréal, but now lives in the UK. In 1984, he collected stories by Mark Twain that could be considered speculative fiction in the book The Science Fiction of Mark Twain.
He is currently working on a book about the life and work of John Wyndham.
