Laurie Yates-Kunkel was an American fan who, when living in Las Vegas was one of the founders of the Fantastic Fiction Club at UNLV. She was later a member of the Southern Nevada Area Fantastic Fiction Union. She was a member of FAPA and active in fanzine fandom.

She married fellow fan Bill Kunkel on November 19, 1995. They moved to Michigan in 2007.
