'''Roy C. Seiler''', a [[Bay Area]] [[fan]] first active in the 1950s, was [[president]] of the [[Golden Gate Futurian Society]]. According to [[Dave Rike]], “One Roy Seiler was voted President because he was 21 and could, therefore, be purchasing agent for [[liquor|potables]].”

Seiler was a member of the [[ISFCC]] and the [[N3F]]. He attended [[SFCon]], the 1954 [[Worldcon]]. He seems to have remained active into the 1980s, at least to the extent of attending some [[Westercon]]s and [[West Coast]] [[Worldcon]]s, to which he was accompanied by [[Carol Seiler]].
