A fannish retelling of [[Robert A. Heinlein]]'s "The Green Hills of Earth," but hardly a parody by [[rich brown]] and [[Paul Stanbery]] and was originally published in [[1960]] in ''[[Dafoe]]'', edited/published by [[John Koning]].

[[Andy Porter]] says, "Its words resonate today; they still have the power to grab you, to rekindle that [[sense of wonder]] about all things [[stfnal]] and [[fannish]] that still smolders, however faintly, in all our hearts."
