Scott Meredith, born Arthur Scott Feldman, was an early fan and literary agent. He was one of the founders in 1941 of The National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F). He was a director of the QSFL and attended the First Worldcon in 1939 and Boskone I in 1941.
Meredith and his brother Sidney founded the Scott Meredith Literary Agency in New York in 1946. They landed their first big-name client, British humorist P. G. Wodehouse, shortly thereafter. Among their sf clients were J. G. Ballard, Arthur C. Clarke and Philip K. Dick.
