Ron Rentz

Ronald Rentz, a fan from Hartford, CT, founded the Fantasy and Science Fiction Book Club -- no relation to the prozine or bookshop of this name -- in 1952. It was supposed to be nonprofit and doubtless was. Its first (and only) selection was Kurt Vonnegut's Player Piano.

He was a member of the N3F, volunteering in its Correspondence Bureau.
