Marshall University Science Fiction Society (also MUSFS) started in November 1979, in Huntington, West Virginia by students of Marshall University. In 1980 they started an APA The Recent Future (last issue 1993) and sponsored MunchCon in the 1980s. Fl. 1979-1993.
Throughout its existence, the club had strong ties to fandom in Morgantown, West Virginia (the Monongamoot Science Fiction Society of West Virginia University.)
