Gary Robe is a southern fan, winner of the Rebel Award in 1996. He was a member of the Western Kentucky University Speculative Fiction Society and the SFPA (of which he served as OE) and helps to run Concave. He is married to fellow fan Corlis Robe. He was a member of the Louisville in '94 Worldcon bid.
