City in East-Central Texas (Brazos County), close to Bryan, Texas, where AggieCon has been held since 1969. Othercon, InstaCon 1 (1983) and Corflu 37 (2020) were also sited there.
Clubs have included Cepheid Variable and C. R. A. B. Nebula SF Club. The Monkey House slan shack existed in the 1980s.
Home of Texas A & M University, College Station has a population of approximately 100,000.
